Congratulations! You are considering volunteering . Volunteering helps develop new skills, strengthen values, and support your community, but it’s sometimes difficult to know where to start.

Volunteers are the heart and soul of our organization. You will be surprised at how giving just a few hours once a week, will do so much good.... and you will be richly rewarded.

We are a new dog rescue. We save lives and you can help. Foster homes are the backbone of our volunteers. The number of dogs that can be saved is determined by the number of available foster homes. Fostering a dog saves a life. Foster care is an opportunity to care for an animal that isn't yet ready for adoption. It is an alternative for those who cannot make a long-term commitment, but would still like to help homeless pets in need. Fostering a pet is an extremely rewarding experience. If you would like to help us by fostering a dog please fill out our Foster Application. Foster care consists of providing a safe, loving, temporary home for a dog until a permanent adoptive home can be found. All dogs are screened for health and temperament before entering our program. We can only rescue as many dogs as we have foster homes! If you can temporarily foster a dog until a permanent home is available, you not only save a life, but increase the probability for a successful adoption. Pets that remain in homes rather than warehoused in shelters suffer from less stress and behavioral issues that cause otherwise highly adoptable animals to be labeled “unadoptable”.We provide food, basic supplies, veterinary care, and guidance. You provide the love, training and home. The dog provides you with love, joy, and the satisfaction of having saved a life.

Besides foster homes we also need volunteers who are skilled or interested in fund raising and grant writing. We need volunteers for scheduled and unscheduled events such as adoption fairs and special projects. We need volunteers with animal skills including training, socializing and grooming. We also need individuals with office skills, computer skills and media skills. No matter what skills you may have you can probably put them to good use making a real difference in the community where you live. We’re looking for people who are passionate about the welfare of dogs and who want to assist in providing them with a second chance to be part of a loving home.

If you can spare a few hours each week or perhaps just once a month and you share a passion for helping to rescue and re-home dogs, we’d love to hear from you! For more information or to let us know you're interested, please email or click on the Foster App below.
Cash Donations are always needed. Although we are a well established rescue, maintaining financial stability is always difficult, We are totally dependent upon community support. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Dogs have given us their absolute all. We are the center of their universe. We are the focus of their love and faith and trust. They serve us in return for scraps. It is without a doubt the best deal man has ever made.
